And I have never seen a GW Special Edition of the mag either.

My friend work in a store. they got the mag today... Should take 1-2 days and everyone will have them... Its a special mag, GW only, and the expiration date is in december. So its not a normal PC Gamer.

Great... another mini pet that will bounce around in the market among the people who gamble with fortune on it's price, and will settle for a price only for elitists.
Not that I'm complaining, I just wish that you didn't have to subscribe to a magazine to get nice things... Dumb.

So is this a random thing inserted into the mags or does every
mag come with a code for a random mini?
Don't get that mag here normally where I live so would have to order it from the US
Or see if my Newsagent can order it in but if it's a random insertion

So if you are a PC Gamer subscriber do you get the mag in the mail? Or do you have to buy if from the news stand?

More complaining? So what? It's just a mini-pet, it's not going to make or break the game.
That said I would like one but I don't care if I can't get it. I still like my mini Shiro

Because Anet doesn't care, Australia doesn't have a bazillion players playing. Anets opinion comes across sometimes more like "Australians are lucky we even release a game in there region!". Note that is my opinion of Anets and there view towards Australia, Not there actual position!

Can we stop the back-and-forth bitchfest about which region is getting the shaft when it comes to game promotions? Bad enough the PvE vs. PvP debate will never come to a close, but when there's a lull in that argument, this debacle has to flare up again...

Ok, ok, I'm here now! And here's the skinny:
We will have a news post and a small bit of information about this magazine tomorrow at Noon on the US Website. But in a nutshell, Guild Wars was the first game ever selected by PC Gamer Magazine for a dedicated issue. It's all Guild Wars, all through the issue! We're very honoured to have our game selected, and we therefore handed over the goods to make it a great edition, in spades! I really think you'll love the content. And Lore Forum aficionados, read the last article, which is about Guild Wars 2. Those story bits will keep you warm through a long winter.
So again, more information for you Tuesday, September 18, and the issue is scheduled to reach shelves on September 25th.
I've just pinged the marketing team to ask if we can get a couple of extra issues and I'll use them for prizes in an upcoming contest. (That may get them into the hands of a few Europeans, which I think would be cool.)

seems true sadly enough, puts middle finger up towards anet....
(Benelux get chances of old minipets and usa gets another garanteed mini, ffs)
Undeadgun what part of chance of getting none at all in benelux even if you buy the mag as oposed to 100% chance with a magazine in usa don't you understand?

Hmmm... something about "the cat's out of the bag" comes to mind.
- We will provide information for you today (18 Sept) at Noon Pacific. That's when it was scheduled to be posted, as that was supposed to be a week in advance.
- The mag officially hits shelves on September 25th, so if you're seeing it in a store, it's early.
- The magazine is North American only, sorry. The NCsoft Europe Marketing Team devised another giveaway for several European countries, as you're probably aware.
- I am sorry, I do not know if this issue will be sent to subscribers or not. It could be an extra edition, I'm just not sure. (But will try to find out.)
- This is an exclusive Guild Wars Issue, the first ever of its kind by PC Gamer. They approached us with the idea not too long ago, and I do think you'll be pleased with all the art, all the info, and the helpful walk-through of the primary repeatable quests for GW:EN.
- Yes, there is information about Guild Wars 2, as written by Ree Soesbee, who is a team member you may not have met yet but will get to hear from more in the future. (Nice person, too!)
- Retail cost: $9.95.
- Miniature: Priceless.
Hope that's helpful info.

Thank you for the update, Gaile. Since your information is more complete and factual than what I'd gathered together, I removed the speculative list from my post above.
